Tongaat Water Treatment Works (TWTW) Emergency Remediation Works
TWTW provides potable water to the greater Tongaat area through pumped supply to various reservoirs, and was damaged and subsequently decommissioned after the April 2022 Floods. The project scope entailed the emergency repair for the reinstatement of the TWTW inclusive of applicable Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Process Engineering Works. The capacity of the Works is 21Mℓ/day and was recommissioned within a period of 105 days.
